A New Life On the Bayrakli Seafront

A symbol of life intertwined with the sea, the yali is not merely a building; it represents a culture of living shaped along the shore. Taking its name from this cultural heritage, Neva Yali Izmir reinterprets Izmir’s coastal identity through a contemporary approach to living.

Two historic mansions stand on the site: one belonged to the Girauds, one of Izmir's old merchant families, the other to the Italian merchant family Braggiotti. Both are being faithfully restored and will serve as distinguished venues hosting fine restaurants at the heart of the project.

The two historic mansions belonging to the Giraud and Braggiotti families are being restored in keeping with their original architecture. Carrying traces of the past into contemporary life, they will become distinguished meeting points that preserve the social and cultural spirit of yali living.
